Registered Acupuncturist
Ted has been practicing acupuncture for over 20 years. He is a faculty member at Pacific Rim College where he lectures on fundamental techniques and principles of East Asian medicine and philosophy. He treats and supervises in the college clinic, and has been training students of Traditional Chinese Medicine for well over a decade.
Welcome to my limited, private practice. Here I bring all of my experience in treatment and education to provide expertise in acupuncture.
I Can Help.
Although I have a general family practice, I have special interest in treating pain & injury, and mental/emotional disorders like addiction, anxiety, and insomnia.
At our first session I will conduct a thorough evaluation in order to arrive at a diagnosis. This will include taking a history, hearing your concerns, taking your pulse, and looking at your tongue. With this information, together we will see a pattern emerge; I'll teach you all about what's going on with your body from an East Asian medical perspective, and how best to move forward.
I provide traditional, classical, and modern acupuncture.
You and your family are most welcome here. I have young children myself, so I know difficult it can be to keep appointments or be apart from them. Please feel free to bring your kids!
I do not offer direct billing to insurance companies at this time. E-transfers are best for payment.
The Clinic
The Clinic is the lower level of a 1913 character home in Quadra village area. The entrance is around to the right side of the house.
You can park right out front.
There are 7 steps to climb in order to access the space.
I practice on the traditional territories of the Lekwungen (Esquimalt and Songhees) and W̱SÁNEĆ (Pauquachin, Tsartlip, Tsawout, Tseycum) peoples. I want to thank them for the land on which I do.
